Dr. Nimrah Malik is delighted to offer personalized eye care at Total Vision Care of East Hanover. Inspired by her mother, a dedicated pediatrician, Dr. Nimrah Malik pursued a career in optometry to build meaningful patient relationships and address the often-overlooked importance of vision health.

Dr. Malik completed her degrees in Public Health and Psychology at Rutgers University in 2008 before earning her optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2013. Her clinical training included pediatric care, specialty contact lenses, and ocular disease.  After five years of refining her practice in California, she returned to New Jersey in 2024 to open Total Vision Care, fulfilling her dream after a period as a stay-at-home mom.

Dr. Malik provides comprehensive eye care. She is available for routine exams, contact lens fittings (soft or RGP) and pediatric exams. She is well versed in medical care for diabetic and glaucoma checks. She is also excited to offer myopia control management for children with MiSight lenses and Atropine.

Outside of work, Dr. Nimrah Malik enjoys hiking, pilates, and exploring new coffee shops with her husband. She also loves spending time with her 3-year-old son.

​​​​​Dr. Xiao Jing Xu graduated from SUNY College of Optometry and is happy to be back home in New Jersey after practicing all around New York City. 

Dr. Xu has extensive training in contact lenses, including astigmatism, monovision, multifocal, and myopia management lenses. She is available for routine and emergency eye exams, contact lens fittings, myopia control, dry eye management, and ocular disease screenings. She takes pride in utilizing the latest technology to provide modern and evidence based care. 

While not working, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and trying new restaurants. Feel free to give her some recommendations on what to try next!

Dr. Mary Wu earned her optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry and furthered her clinical skills by completing a primary care and ocular disease residency at the New Jersey Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Her clinical interests include myopia management, contact lenses, and ocular disease management and prevention. Her approach to practicing optometry is to provide an individualized approach to eye care.

Dr. Wu enjoys spending time with her husband, running around with her spirited toddler, and caring for their family cat. She practices photography during her personal time.
